Hannah Mayne’s photographic practice blends the personal with the universal, exploring the human experience through a blend of found imagery, ephemera, and carefully considered design.
Combining analogue photography with handmade collage and mixed media practices, Hannah blurs the line between reality and memory, questioning notions of authenticity and identity in the digital age.
With a passion for music, she is also drawn to capturing the atmosphere of live events and moments of connection between performers and the audience.

I will deliver honest work, by ensuring my creative vision is expressed without distorting or compromising the integrity of my subjects.
I will be mindful while I photograph to minimise any impact on those around me.
Consent will be obtained from the people I photograph and I will provide clear information on intended image usage and permission.
I will respect rules, regulations and gain any permissions from the spaces where I am photographing.
I recognise that boundaries will vary at each shoot and ethical practices are constantly evolving, so I will seek to stay informed on current issues that may arise within my practice.
